When J.J. McColl first penned her tribute to "the change," she settled on the catchy and meaningful title, Menopositive! The Musical. Under that banner, the show premiered at Vancouver's Firehall Arts Centre in 1998. Since then, Menopositive! The Musical has played to sold out houses across Canada.

Due to a conflict with a similarly and completely unrelated show in the U.S., Menopositive! will be known outside of Canada as J.J. McColl's "WE'RE STILL HOT! The Musical." Within Canada, the show continues to enjoy success under the original title.
